Black tailed skimmer

There was several males but I only saw one female. She was there for a brief moment so I was lucky to capture her. For the males I was lucky to capture one still airborne. With a shadow beneath it.

A video from youtube showing a mating sequence. That looks soooo uncomfortable.

Usually I see this Damselfly before this date. And I only saw one. There used to be many. Maybe the hasch winter took it´s toll.

Today I spotted the first dragonfly of the year. Not the one I expected to be the first, but so welcome. I was afraid they all died in those freezing cold weeks at the end of this long winter. At least some stayed alive.

Den här honan var blyg och ville inte riktigt vara med på noterna. Men jag hittade henne i alla fall . :)
This female was shy and did not really want to be shot at. Well, at least I finally found her. :)
