Today I spotted the first dragonfly of the year. Not the one I expected to be the first, but so welcome. I was afraid they all died in those freezing cold weeks at the end of this long winter. At least some stayed alive.

Den här honan var blyg och ville inte riktigt vara med på noterna. Men jag hittade henne i alla fall . :)
This female was shy and did not really want to be shot at. Well, at least I finally found her. :)

Det här verkar var en gammal hane eftersom färgerna är dämpade. En ung hand har klarare färger. Honan är i stort sett gul.
This seems to be an old male as the colors are not clear. The female is mostly yellow.
